Avalon Consulting is seeking a dependable, organized and customer service-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our executive leadership team, our marketing department and office at-large.  

This will be an exceptional opportunity for a recent college graduate or anyone else who is interested in an entry-level position with growth potential, working in collaborative team environment, learning about a new industry and making a difference. 

What You Will Do

As our Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing traditional administrative support to our office including:

  • Supporting the Executive Leadership team by making travel arrangements, managing their schedule and meeting coordination and managing expense reports
  • Supporting the Marketing team with updating and preparation of marketing proposals, presentations and other materials,
  • Handling other office administration and reception responsibilities such as sitting at the front desk and greeting visitors, managing the reception area, mail distribution, meeting support, company travel, copy jobs, and coordinating office supplies.
  • Maintaining staff anniversary and client and staff birthday lists
  • Planning and managing company events including holiday dinner, summer fun day, and anniversary parties

What We Need

If you're the right one for us, you'll be a recent college grad or someone without a degree and two (2) or more years of experience providing administrative support in a professional environment. 

You'll be someone with high attention to detail and thoroughness who can handle a variety of administrative responsibilities. You'll also possess strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Most importantly, you'll be professional and reliable with above average communication skills and someone who wants to provide outstanding service to our clients and your internal customers.
