Are you a top-notch risk intelligence analyst and research professional who wants variety, challenge and the ability to make a difference?  We are seeking a Vendor Risk Intelligence (VRI) Analyst I who will support the VRI function in executing its role in analyzing risk in a global and ever-evolving webbed supply chain.  Under the direction of the Senior Analyst/Program Manager for Vendor Risk Intelligence, you will specifically be responsible for executing key vendor risk analysis tasks and preparing research and materials to facilitate risk discussions including agendas, presentation materials and vendor risk intelligence summary analysis.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in risk analysis and risk assessment research
  • Analyze risk data to identify trends and material/impactful vendor risk issues
  • Identifies key risks and mitigating factors and conducts analysis for qualitative and quantitative results as required
  • Works with multiple business units/risk partners/bid data providers to gather risk-related data from internal or external resources
  • Maintain the repository of vendor risk intelligence including metrics, documentation and generates reports illustrating data, text and graphics
  • Assist with the centralized vendor risk intelligence cloud-based solution to ensure quality and the security of required documentation
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
  • Assist with employee awareness and understanding of vendor risk management as well as how their actions and efforts contribute to enterprise risk management
  • Document and report status of agreed upon activities, remediation plans, owners and commitment dates
  • Assist in ensuring accurate data capture of activities and risks in support of risk reporting for all levels of management

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Journalism, Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Information Security or another related analytical field.  Masters preferred
  • At least 1 year of general work experience, with  specialized experience in research/investigative analysis/risk management related activities
  • Experience in critical problem solving or client facing roles
  • Knowledge of enterprise or vendor risk management and internal control standards expected at this entry level position
  • Strong communication/influence, facilitation and presentation skills; networking internally and externally
  • Strong editing and writing skills
  • Ability to analyze and develop business and management risk reports to include risk aggregation, trending, outlier involving both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to keep up with changing priorities without getting frustrated
  • Ability to manage tasks and time commitments to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Access)
  • Experience with data providers such as LexisNexis, D&B Hoovers, and Bloomberg
  • Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills
