Join our team as the Marketing Coordinator and help fight the children's literacy crisis impacting communities across the country! Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships, the Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing team's efforts to support partnerships, program engagement, and special initiatives through creative executions and exceptional organization of marketing deliverables and assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Graphic Design
- Provide entry-level graphic design support on print and premium collateral, under the guidance of RIF's Creative Director
Print Production
- Manage all logistics related to print and premium production, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to effectively and efficiently manage proofs, quantities, specs, deadlines, shipping, and invoicing, with guidance from RIF's Creative Director
- Source and produce branded premiums and event materials
Asset Management
- Responsible for developing and maintaining database of record for images, videos, quotes, milestones, awards, and organizational timeline.
General Marketing Support
- Conduct and gather research on influencers, authors/illustrators, advertising opportunities to enhance the organization's pathways for reach, awareness and engagement
- Development of decks and talking points for external meetings, conferences, and presentations.
- Provide support, as needed, related to partner activations, special initiatives and campaigns.
- Collect, analyze, and present metrics across RIF's communications channels for internal and external audiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Interest in marketing, communications, design and/or youth & education.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Basic design skills through introductory courses in college or self-driven. Creative portfolio and/or examples requested.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Consistently demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills, in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Self-motivated (a "self-starter"), innovative, and having the ability to work with considerable independence within the context of a team environment and a network of relationships.
- Communicate directly with internal & external stakeholders regarding tasks or projects directly related to project coordination responsibilities.
- An interest and aptitude to learn about basic print production processes, design principles, and brand requirements
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel; open to training on Adobe, Canva and Salesforce.
