  • Five to seven years relevant experience in accounting and/or audit and two to three years supervisory experience.
  • Experience with financial/project reporting and data analysis.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability and willingness to assume responsibility for and follow-up on multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
  • High proficiency in Excel required; experience with Intacct and Insight software a plus.
  • Collaborative working style and ability to establish strong working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues.

What's Attractive to the Right Candidate?

  • As the Senior Accounting Manager, you will have the opportunity to build on a strong foundation of accounting processes with the goal of finding efficiencies by thinking "outside the book" to support a smooth monthly close and accurate project reporting.
  • You'll work alongside an innovative team of professionals passionate about reaching learners to support a culture of literacy and deliver collective impact nationwide.
  • Throughout our 55-year history, RIF has been a champion of racial justice and equity through literacy. Your contributions to our work will ensure that our products and programs support reducing the gap in reading performance among under-represented student populations.
