Atlantic Design, Inc is an established leader in the design of custom equipment for the blasting and coating industry. We are currently seeking a Sales and Service Assistant to add to our team for our growing company in the Baltimore area. This is an excellent opportunity for career minded individuals. This is a full-time position with benefits.

The Assistant will provide administrative support to our Sales and Service team throughout and after the sales process, ensuring superior customer relations and satisfaction. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, assisting in resolving customer questions and issues, maintaining quote sheets, developing sales packets, coordinating schedules and pending customer tasks, interacting with all ADI departments to move decisions towards a solution. You will be successful in this position if you are engaged and energetic, can gather information from multiple sources to influence decision making, can work independently and follow through on projects with minimal direction, and have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Expectations / Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative or customer service experience.
  • Understanding of manufacturing / parts sales a plus.
  • Marketing experience or knowledge a plus.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining effective customer relationships.
  • Effective interpersonal skills when dealing with company employees and customers at all levels. Lots of phone and email communications required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Dependable with strong attention to detail.
  • Aptitude and interest in learning the ADI business.
  • Fast and eager learner.
