The Marketing & Partnerships Manager reports to the Senior Director of Marketing & Partnerships with oversight from the Vice President for Marketing & Partnerships. The role of the Marketing & Partnerships Manager is to understand, inform and execute marketing strategies to drive and achieve organizational, partner, team, and project objectives, boosting awareness and engagement across RIF's communications platforms. Execute the strategy and tactics to align with core marketing and partnership goals. Specific responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining annual editorial calendar to support audience engagement, extend program support and build awareness across all RIF communication channels.
  • Managing writing, creative and production of monthly educator email, along with additional programmatic and product and promotional emails.
  • Managing writing, creative and production of monthly e-newsletter.
  • Writing and creating content for and manage organization's digital and social media platforms to align to RIF editorial calendar, key organizational and partnership objectives.
  • Managing the day-to-day development and coordination of print and digital collateral, promotions, and communication tactics working closely with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors, from initiation to execution and invoicing.
  • Creating, implementing, and managing integrated marketing communication and promotional plans in support of internal initiatives as well as key strategic partnerships with RIF funders, including outlining project plans, develop timelines and monitor progress, including deadlines, specs, assets, budget, vendor coordination, status updates, approvals, and final delivery.
  • Vendor management, including interfacing with and manage the work of graphic design, video, print, copywriting, texting, and other vendors.
  • Supporting RIF's Race, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative through digital and print communications as well as provide notes from the National Advisory Board meetings and provide support for related webinars.
  • Monitoring metrics and impressions for all digital communications, including press releases, blogs, and emails, to provide informed recommendations to support marketing strategy.

Requirements for the Marketing & Partnerships Manager:

  • 2-4 years' experience with a Bachelor of Science in marketing, digital marketing or social media preferred.
  • A highly organized and creative person
  • Knowledge in simple HTML
  • CMS Experience is a plus (WordPress, Drupal)
  • Basic Graphic Design Skills - whether in Adobe Creative Suite or even Canva
  • Knowledge in professional social media, specifically Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube
  • Knowledge in scheduling and analytic reporting in Sprout Social
  • CRM or Email Tools, Engaging Networks specifically is a plus
  • Storytelling; Content Creation
