Dynamic and thriving insurance third party administration company seeks an experienced Sales/Business Development professional to establish, maintain and develop relationships with large businesses and strategic partners in the Mid-Atlantic region for the purpose increasing employee benefits participation.  Based in Owings Mills. SF&C provides products and third-party administrator (combined billing) services for voluntary insurance benefits as a liaison between employer groups and carriers. http://www.sfandc.com 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin preferred, or equivalent work experience as substitute
  • Experience selling services in a business or union environment, preferably insurance products
  • Understanding of third-party administrator function and capabilities. 
  • Familiarity with accounting terminology
  • Proven team player with ability to interact with all levels of business functions
  • Local daytime travel within the region for business calls and events required, occasional evening events

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to analyze market and financial data and prepare reports, budgets and projections.
  • Experience presenting relevant information to non-professionals in a clear, organized manner
  • Ability to close sales and complete projects with appropriate follow through.
  • Skilled in establishing positive and long-lasting business relationships
